The Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR) evaluates the low-temperature performance of asphalt binders by measuring creep stiffness and relaxation characteristics. It helps assess the binder's resistance to thermal cracking under cold climatic conditions and forms an essential part of the Superpave Performance Grading system.
