12TH INDUSTRIAL ADVISORY BOARD MEETING OF SCEE (NICE)

The Industrial Advisory Board meeting of SCEE (NICE), held on 11^th December 2024, included Distinguished Professor Dr. Shahbaz Khan (Director, UNESCO Regional Office for East Aisa), Dr. Asim Inam (General Manager Construction, National Highway Authority), Engr. Munawar Iqbal (Director General, Public Private Infrastructure Board), Qazi Muhammad Omar (Project Director, BRT, Capital Development Authority), and Engr. Ahsan Hafeez (Head of Contracts, DESCON). All participants appreciated the program’s performance, the improvement in its global ranking, and the unprecedented accreditation it has received. Dr. Shahbaz proposed international collaborations to exchange knowledge, while Dr. Inam offered to collaborate on work zone safety. Engr. Hafeez highlighted the need to align HR practices with graduate skills, and Engr. Omar emphasized the importance of planning in development projects, suggesting its integration into the curriculum. The meeting concluded with a commitment to strengthen these collaborations and integrate these ideas into academic and industry initiatives.
