Summary

Dr. Arshad Hussain is currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of Transportation Engineering Department, NUST Institute of Civil Engineering, School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (SCEE), NUST, Islamabad. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Arshad has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience in various areas of Transportation Engineering with emphasis on Road material characterization, Pavement design and analysis, Pavement recycling/ rehabilitation, Asphalt binder modification, Performance based testing and specification. He has presented his research work at a significant number of international conferences and authored/ co-authored several peer-reviewed journal publications. He has supervised over 50 post-graduate thesis research studies and over 20 UG Final Year Design Projects. He has published over 60 international journal/ conference papers.
