Summary
Dr.-Ing. AR Nasir is currently serving as the Assistant Professor and the Head of Construction Engineering and Management (CE&M), at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. Dr. Nasir has his Ph.D. with great distinction from Bauhaus Universität Weimar-Germany in Construction Engineering and Management, where his research topic was aimed at enhancing the employability of the low-skilled construction workforce by utilizing the potential of BIM and VR. Moreover, with four years of construction industry experience in the domain of Construction Contracts Management and targeted learning through the Bachelor of Law (LL.B. degree), Dr. Nasir possesses knowledge and skills related to the contractual and legal aspects of construction throughout the project life-cycle. Dr. Nasir has five-year average teaching feedback of 86.82%, the best teacher award for 2021-22, 25+ MS research supervisions, 16 Journals and 10 conference publications, and 5+ R&D/consultancy grants. His research interests lie in the areas of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Contracts Management, Construction Law, and Health and Safety Management.
