NUST CULTURAL FEST’23
Beginning in the morning, traditional breakfast stalls were setup at the SCME Ground at 0900 hrs, signaling the start of the day’s festivities. Visitors to the event could enjoy a range of delicious food options throughout the day, with a variety of food stalls available.
In addition to the food stalls, attendees could also enjoy a range of rides, including a pirate ship and a ferris wheel. These would have undoubtedly provided a thrilling and exhilarating experience for both children and adults alike.
As the day progressed, at 1600 hrs, NUST students took to the stage to perform traditional dances, while traditional food stalls were set up for visitors to enjoy. Students represented their cultures in different ways . Grand entrance of each province was made by the students to promote their culture.
After 1800 hrs, as the sun began to set, the atmosphere at the event shifted, and the focus turned to the Dhamal Night festivities. This portion of the event featured a DJ Night, where attendees fully enjoyed. PNCA performers continued to provide cultural performances with signature Tabla and Sitar, adding to the immersive and engaging experience of the event. The PNCA performers also added to the cultural experience of the event, providing a glimpse into the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the region.
Visitors could also go to the cultural stalls, providing them with the opportunity to purchase unique and memorable items to take home with them. NUST students also grabbed the opportunity by setting up their own stalls featuring signature dishes from their respective regions. Throughout the event, the rides remained open, providing visitors with a chance to enjoy the thrills and excitement they had to offer.
All in all, the Dhamal Night event seems like it would have been a truly unforgettable experience, with a range of activities and attractions to keep attendees entertained and engaged throughout the day and into the evening.
