Dr. Muhammad Irfan, Principal & Dean SCEE alongwith Dr. Syed Waqar Haider from Michigan State University (USA) conducted an International Workshop on Quality Assurance and PMS for Highway Construction & Maintenance at Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI) on 2nd January 2025.

The workshop successfully provided advanced knowledge and practical strategies for highway construction and maintenance, emphasizing high-quality hot mix asphalt (HMA) production, quality assurance, pavement rehabilitation, and sustainable infrastructure. Key sessions covered advanced sampling techniques, data analysis, and effective pavement management systems (PMS).

Participants praised the workshop for its technical depth, real-world applications, and expert guidance. The event achieved its goal of equipping attendees with actionable insights to enhance infrastructure quality and sustainability.
